THE TEACHER
Adam was born and raised in California. He fell in love with the piano as a toddler and began formal lessons at age eight — a passion that would shape the course of his life.
He studied under distinguished pianists including Wladimir Jan Kochanski, a Juilliard graduate who trained with Eduard Steuermann and Rosina Lhévinne — the latter known as Van Cliburn's teacher. This lineage connects Adam's training to one of the most celebrated pianistic traditions of the twentieth century.
He later entered the University of Redlands on a classical piano scholarship, studying under Dr. Angelica Prodan, a Romanian-born concert pianist who has performed extensively as both soloist and collaborator with musicians including members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

PERFORMANCE
In addition to his classical training, Adam has professional touring experience with various bands, including Knight Fury and Giuffria. He holds writing credits on multiple songs and continues to compose and record his own music — keeping his playing active, evolving, and grounded in real performance experience.
TEACHING
Adam has taught piano since the age of sixteen. His approach draws from deep classical training while remaining flexible and student-centered — meeting each student where they are and building from there. Beyond music, he brings a broad background in instruction: he is a commercial pilot and flight instructor, has taught English in Japan, and speaks fluent Japanese.
